Collin is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist with particular interests in infant and child mental health, attachment theory, and psychodynamic approaches to working with children, parents, and families. His clinical work spans anxiety, mood, trauma-related, neurodevelopmental, and behavioural difficulties including complex presentations.
Collin has worked across a broad range of Victorian public child and adolescent mental health services and is also the psychiatrist for the Austin Hospital Child Inpatient Unit, a specialist service for children aged 0-12 and their families experiencing significant emotional, social, and behavioural problems. This background shapes his holistic and individualised approach to understanding children within their family and systemic context, and to working collaboratively with the other professionals involved in a young person's care. Collin draws on a range of theoretical perspectives, including developmental, systemic, trauma-informed, and psychodynamic frameworks, to tailor his approach to each child and family's unique situation.
Collin sees infants, children, and adolescents up to age 18 for assessment and ongoing treatment. Collin is available Wednesdays and Fridays for both in-person and telehealth consultations. After hours and weekend appointments available by individual arrangement and may incur an additional fee.
